“Being a physician recruiter means bringing the right person to make the greatest impact in a specific community, taking care of our patients as if they were their own family.”
What is your biggest recruitment challenge?
“Finding the right people to come to our community who are willing to stay and grow in the community.”
What tips do you have for your fellow recruiters?
“Get to know your customers—not only the folks who you are reaching out to, the physicians, but also the areas that you are recruiting for. Make sure you know exactly what they’re looking for.”
What tips do you have for job-seeking physicians?
“Really know where you want to be and what kind of colleagues you want to work with and whether you want to be academic or community.”
