This post is the first in a new blog series called "Meet PracticeLink"! We're doing short Q&As with members of the PracticeLink team to help you learn a little more about the people who make up our company.

Today we're talking to Jessie Ballard, regional account manager for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas and Kentucky. If you're a PracticeLink user in this region, you may already know Jessie. But here's a bit more...

Tell us about yourself and your family!

I was born and raised in Hinton, West Virginia [PracticeLink's headquarters]. I just turned 30, and I am an only child. My husband, Jarrod, is an engineer for CSX. We have a 2-year-old son, Rhett.

What is Rhett going to be for Halloween?

Rhett is going to be a skeleton.

What are your hobbies outside work?

I love listening to music! I LOVE to cook and spend time with my family, so I'm always having get-togethers. I also love taking Rhett different places; everything is so new to him, and his excitement for EVERYTHING is so fun to watch.

What is your favorite type of music?

Classic rock is my favorite genre.

What is your favorite thing to cook?

I love to bake desserts the most. Fall is my favorite time to bake pumpkin and apple desserts.

How long have you been at PracticeLink?

I have been with PracticeLink for 8 years in November. I started out doing an internship for college, then was hired on as a physician relations representative.

What’s your favorite part of working at PracticeLink?

The people I work with and knowing that what I do plays a part in helping communities find physicians that will help their families.

What's your most memorable moment from your time with PracticeLink?

My first ASPR in San Antonio, Texas. The first time I walked into the exhibit hall and looked at our booth and talked to our clients—that's when I truly realized how important we are in what we do.
