The hardest specialties to recruit in the physician job market

Wondering what to expect as you recruit for different specialties?The PracticeLink Physician Recruitment Index is a relative indication of the relative ease or difficulty of recruitment for various specialties based on supply and demand information gathered by the PracticeLink system quarterly. The larger the “Jobs per candidate” number, the more difficult the search.

Hardest to Recruit

The Hardest to Recruit Specialties are those with the most jobs posted on PracticeLink per candidate in those specialties.

For the fourth quarter in a row, “Oncology – Gynecological” is the physician recruitment industry’s hardest specialty to recruit.
