When it comes to physician recruitment, knowing the state of the overall market can help.

Recruiters who are aware of the relative ease or difficulty of a search can allocate their resources, time and tactics accordingly.

The quarterly PracticeLink Physician Recruitment Index helps physician recruiters evaluate their opportunities, searches and job responses within a larger context on the PracticeLink website.

In the newest Most In-Demand Specialties Index, the top 5 specialties, for the most part, remain unchanged for the last 2 quarters. Urology has made it's way into the top 5, bumping Urgent Care to #6.

This marks the eighth quarter in a row that Neurology has been at the top of the Most In-Demand Specialties Index.

The physician specialties that appear on this quarterly Index of the Most In-Demand Specialties are the specialties with
the most jobs posted on PracticeLink, and are then ranked by hardest to recruit.
